Japan surprises me a lot. Never so much, though, as 5 minutes ago when I turned on my TV and saw Jiro Wang. Followed by Danson.

Not often being home on Mondays and less often turning my tv on when I am, I didn't realize Japan was currently broadcasting "They Kiss Again."

*facepalm*

I just went to a 3.5 hour long taiko concert. I didn't know it was going to be 3.5 hours long when it started. Now mind you, I likes me some taiko, but I also like stretching and eating dinner, so I was a bit out of it. Now aiwritingfic has been waxing poetic about Jasmine Tea KitKats recently. I went looking for them at my local 7-11 to no avail. What I found instead was Maccha Tiramisu KitKats...

Guys, it's like heaven covered in chocolate.

I was unable to get a photo of this because it was in a very crowded store, but on Monday I saw the greatest Engrish T-shirt ever. Not only was it olive green with sewn on patent leather suspenders, not only were the words emblazoned with glitter, but the text read:
